SATISFACTION YOU DESERVE

Oscar Smith, Chaplain, contributor
Copyright 2/2009

As a person who meets others fairly easily, I was introduced to CT at a local restaurant who distributes Jan Darpan Magazine. He said it was the best publication he had read in years. The question which inspires me to write this was, ”will you make sure Inspiring Leaders be people who we can trust to do business with?”

One marked difference between Jan Darpan and other publications is that we do not concern ourselves only with the fruit, as a Chaplain I’m concerned about the root of the matter. ”The root of the righteous yields fruit ” said the wise man in the Proverbs (12:12).
Much that passes for feature profiles of outstanding individuals and or businesses today is the brief, bright effort of the severed branch to bring forth “it’s fruit” in its season. There is a big PRIDE factor that exists today that shouts PLEASE RECOGNIZE I DESERVE EXALTATION. But the deep laws of life are against this type of fireworks style success story.

As an Interviewer I take my craft seriously and I must be very careful not to become preoccupied with appearances and a corresponding neglect of the out-of-sight root of a true spiritual life and personal integrity, which can sometimes go unnoticed. Immediate results are all that matter. Quick proofs of present success without a thought of how they treat their customers, suppliers, co- workers, neighbors and most importantly their families!

Inspiring Leaders will always be Inspiring Leaders!
The profiles that lead you to believe “if its good and gets results” who cares, you will not see this kind of person profiled in this magazine. Our Publishers are soundly rooted with the highest standards of character and honesty. That is the only reason why I chose to be a Contributor for Jan Darpan.

I uncovered a real jewel of truth during a sermon some years ago by Pastor Brenda Timberlake, CFC, North Carolina, from this message I received one worthy sentence that I will never forget. Here is what she advised ”Listen to no man who fails to listen from God.” In any group of ten persons at least nine are sure to believe that they are qualified to offer advice to others. Today we should select our Counselors carefully. The selection inevitably carries with it the idea of rejection. Taking wrong advice listening to those who have not listened to God can affect you adversely and the consequences can lead you or your family to suffer financially and emotionally. True moral wisdom must always be an echo of God’s voice. The only safe light for my path is the light which is reflected from Jesus Christ, the light of the world.

It is especially important when you read Jan Darpan and the Plus section that you TRUST us to bring you authentic verifiable “Inspiring Leaders who are genuine Inspiring Leaders! This is our promise and this is the “SATISFACTION THAT YOU DESERVE
