Because of the growing demand continuous modernization is going on and the infrastructure of the airports are to be put up with more effort. The Tirupati airport has been upgraded to an international one and the PM laid the foundation stone for the integrated terminal complex.
The aviation sector has witnessed rapid success both nationally and internationally. The air traffic has tripled and doubled simultaneously during the last seven years.
The PM applauded the state government for proper utilization of 293 acres of the land out of 718 allotted. Rs 174 crore is being invested in it, moreover his government might enter the Public Private Partnership as previously done at the Greenfield airports at Hyderabad and Bangalore.
