The festival will be held between October 21- 28 and it will be organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI).
The actor was basically known for patriotic roles in movies like Kranti , Upkar , Purab Aur Paschim . Other films include Roti, Kapda Aur Makan , Sanyasi, Dus Numbari and others in the list . His Last film was Maidan-e – Jung in 1995 .
The actor is said to have contributed thirty years to the industry. He had been earlier awarded Padma Shri , Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his acting and directing skills.
"I am happy to receive this award. It's as important as an Oscar," the 73-year-old actor said .
