Exercise is not only for body but it is for mind as well .Though it is truly said that a healthy body rests in a healthy mind but the reverse is also very true. A positive vibe is generated while you exercise. It makes you feel better and energized. It can be a great outlet for stress and depression.
Exercise helps in increasing our metabolism. The basic metabolic rate is increased and our system functions in a much better way. We end up gaining weight when our calorie intake and workout level is same but this can only be counteracted through exercise. Exercising on a regular basis will help us lose weight and burn fat.
Exercise is a powerful tool to strengthen the bone. In case of women it helps in fighting off osteoporosis and other problems because of menopause. One should work out more than three times a week as it makes the heart strong and pump blood with less effort. The blood pressure will go down as well as the cholesterol level.
Not only this by excising we can lower the risk of injury and recover faster. So pull up your socks, start the work out and feel the difference within a few days. But remember not to overdo things.
