According to the women that attended our Women in Hotel Leadership (WIHL) Conference in Dallas on November 11-12, 2011, the AAHOA Women’s Committee presented an outstanding, unforgettable event. Over 300 women, AAHOA officers and board members, and local youth attended this conference. The Women’s Committee presented a self-exploration, educational, fun-filled two day event that catered to the women in lodging. According to AAHOA statistics, “Of the 11,000AAHOA members, 3,600 are women, up from 2,500 in 2008”.The AAHOA officers’ and board’s faith and unconditional support in our Women’s Committee flourished and empowered us to produce this spectacular event which included a fashion show, panel discussion, educational seminars, networking opportunities, hospitality family feud, and several powerful guest speakers. The AAHOA Women’s Committee welcomes any women in lodging to become a member and utilize the resources that we are providing for our women not only to excel and exceed in their businesses, but to give them the confidence and support needed to achieve any goal set before them.WIHL invites you to the May 2012 AAHOA Annual Conference in Atlanta,GA.
